wtf awesome

all fitted together and nice how you used the original noise.

few questions:
how did you make that awesome sounding reese?
and what kinda drumpack do you use?

SteakJohnson responds:

thanks man, for the awesome reese I granulized one of the heavily distorted parts in Reptiore's submission, then thew more distortion on it lol and filtering.... Also messed with the pitching before granulizing it....
----
For the drums, I layered and compressed a few different snares together for one big snare, same for the kick drum.. and then the shuffles were a bunch of layered funk breaks distorted a bit

not that "dubstep" feel.

i have to say its a fantastic first try but this hasnt realy dubstep feel into it.
first thing is that the bass is to much on the background. if you listen to nero - act like you know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpDVOW fP3To you hear that the bass is more prominent. also its a bit soft and it didnt catch alot of frequency's. it doesnt have to be the rusko frequency range (cuz his is abnormal) but a little more eq higher frequency boost on your bass could help that. i also heared that you only use the wobble base like an ordinary patch. your bass has to wobble in diferent ways and not at the same speed al the time. like rusko and nero do.

at last, i think that acoustic guitar like sound doesnt fit in dubstep, but thats my personal opinion. and the track has an ambient like feel

Fredgy responds:

yup i agree with everything :p
but my first goal was to make a wobble bass haha :D
i know all the songs of nero and so on, you know vaski - murder
i'm pointing at that one, i keep trying untill i can make something like that haha :D
and the guitar was just for filling it up a bit ;)
thanks!

could use some mastering

pretty fun song but it seems a little empty. i think remastering would help to get rid of.
otherwise: pretty good

Eirun responds:

Yep, you're right. Or a little too "wet". However, it's an old, abandoned project, so I won't bother tampering with it, sorry.

amazing

youre definetly the best (and probably the only) psytrance producer on ng.

what i wondered: how do you make those psytrance sounds? with that i mean fx and such. o and whats your daw?

keep making the awesome beats!!!

hopeku responds:

Dude there is too much to tell about psytrance sounds.

There is some hint though : If you wanna make 303 sounds, all you need is a sawtooth wave and some overdrive.

If you want to make some cool psychedelic synth, try putting pitch envelope and hipassfilter (with envolope too)

Hipass filter in psytrance are always great :)

I suggest you chek on the internet!

omg awesome

nothing to say to you but awesome exept the kick... could be a little more dominant. keep on goin for mankind :)

MSXOmega responds:

Lol, thanks. I guess the kick could be punchier, huh? :P

nice and peacefull

i like how its remembering me walking in a forrest with bunnys and stuf.

well done : )

loansindi responds:

Hey, thanks for the review!

uhh well done?

pretty well put and good instruments but this is so stolen out of the fruityloops xxl pakage. the main melody is from the pakage that you get with xxl so the biggest number i can give ya is a 4

SubtleForces responds:

Em, no it's not...

Tell me a song name and I will see what ya trying to think sounds like this...

you forgot the swing damnit

not halfbad but where is tha swing? NOWHERE!!!

you can not just paste a dnb loop on it and hope it will work.

Sytze responds:

I'm not sure what you mean by 'swing'
And I didn't just paste a dnb loop, I created that myself >:(
Thanks for the review though

pretty decent

only a few things.
1 it wasnt consistend. i think ya tried to hard to get it less repetative :D
2 the melodys are a litlle repetative. you should try to make melodys that are at least 4 bars long
3 youve forgot hihats!
4 you should use snares for build ups. that you use the kick as build up is fine only it would sound better if you use snares.

hope it helped :)

superuberinsaneausm responds:

thanks for the help i will definitely take this into account

2one9 is a bitch (guy under meh)

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

How did I not pay attention to the drums, though?
